From time to time we get questions about how large of an area we need, or why we should choose you over someone else… so we’re here to answer the questions for you…
Question: So is it a Party Booth? Or a Photo Booth?
Answer: It’s a party in a Photo Booth! We named it Party Booth by Kevin Kramer Photography because the first time we ran it, we overheard someone say “It’s like a party in here!” and that’s where Party Booth was born!
Question: We hired a DJ who also has a booth, why should we choose you instead of them?
Answer: We respect that there are others that have photo booths. Normally a lot of the DJ’s that you hired have photo booths that do the same as ours, take photos and print them. However, what we care about is the quality of the photos that you’re receiving. Most of the DJ Photo Booth operators bring an iPad wrapped up in an LED light and pass that off as “high quality”.
Question: So what makes your Photo Booth high quality?
Answer: We use digital SLR cameras with software that we’ve programmed to our standards that do what we want it to do. We use LED lighting on the outside, and also a strobe flash on the inside of our booth. We also use a Sub Dye Printer as well that prints in less than 20 seconds so you can walk away with your print from the event.
Question: How much space do you need for your booth?
Answer: We normally need around a 10 feet by 10 feet area for our open air Photo Booth. For our 360 Booth we request around 15 feet by 15 feet.
Question: If you’re photographing my wedding, who is running the Photo Booth?
Answer: I utilize knowledgable associates who I train prior to your event. Because I’m on site and there’s an issue, I can easily run over to and within minutes fix what I need to do.
Question: What’s the most people you’ve had in your Photo Booth?
Answer: 19.
Question: What is your payment process?
Once the contract is signed, a 50% deposit can be sent via check, or credit card utilizing our payment system. The final remaining balance is due 15 days before your event.
Question: Does everyone who is in the photo get a print?
Answer: Yes they do! There is also an option to have photos texted or emailed to yourselves as well.
Question: Do you provide a memory book for brides and grooms at their wedding?
Answer: Yes! On top of that, we do it for free! We do not uncharge for a book that we provide for the newlyweds.
Question: Do you charge idle time?
Answer: No. Getting paid for doing nothing is pretty dumb. We set up the booth, and anticipate the crowd once the contracted time starts.
Question: How long does it take for you to set up?
Answer: Setup takes about an hour to do. We want to make sure we get everything right prior to the first shot!
